  • Business Systems Discussion
    • IT Governance Council Response
      • Council approved proposal, with addition of also optimizing existing systems
      • Suggestion that the Admin. Committee act as a conduit between the Information Technology Priorities Committee and users to review systems
      • Suggestion that projects in the ITPC are vetted at the subcommittee level, and that the Admin. Committee is involved at that level, too
      • Discussion of ITPC process: how to make it more accessible, what the process is
    • Travel & Expense Management
      • The TEM subcommittee is starting in the spring
      • Will have participation from three campuses

    • Project Updates
      • Discussion of MyFi, which should close in March
      • Discussion of the Automated Grade Change Process
      • A spring release is being aimed at with Identity Access Management (IAM) for UIS, and then UIC
      • HR process closes in January
      • Dentistry project closing at end of the project year
  • New Business
    • Document Management
      • BPIG Advisory Group was contacted about Laserfiche
      • College of Urban Planning and Public Administration met with Gordon Flesh, and are still working on pricing
      • Work may begin on an HR document management system for HR files
    • Faculty Grading
      • Faculty grading system is now up, no data yet on how many people have used it
      • No reduction on grades submitted, some positive feedback on from faculty
    • Employee Termination
      • Discussion on working towards a better process to make sure terminated employees’ access are removed in an efficient manner
  • Closing Notes
    • Updates
      • Lean Six Sigma classes are being taken over by HR
      • Also working with green belt classes
      • Suggestion that the Admin. Committee reach out to green belts to work on specific projects– especially involving HR
