    • RIMS/Preserving Email
      • The Records and Information Management Services (RIMS) has asked for feedback as to how electronic documents should be stored/saved
      • Questions on this topic were proposed for RIMS, shared with the committee
    • ITGC Updates
      • IT Security Policies accepted by Council, onto Chancellor/Vice Chancellor (CVC)
      • A presentation is being prepped to show deans’ council on related policy issues
      • Calendaring recommendation was passed, proposal was forwarded to Provost
      • Content Managing System (CMS)/Web recommendation also sent to Provost
      • Identity Access Management (IAM) recommendations forwarded to IAM
    • 2014 InfraSec Priorities
      • Discussion of surveyed top priorities
      • Top priority results: network, storage, and calendaring/email upgrade
      • Consideration of how to roadmap and strategize priorities
  • Announcements from the Chief Information Officer (CIO)
    • Document Management
      • Group is being put together to work on electronic document management and electronic signatures to span across campuses
      • Representation will be from UIUC, Springfield, UA, and HR
      • There is a Request for Proposal (RFP)
    • Bus Tracker
      • A way to have a bus tracker with an AT&T mobile app is being explored
    • Scholarship Management Software
      • Discussion of the necessity for creating a single place where all departments can list all available scholarships
    • Rave
      • Rave (used for emergency communications) is going forward
      • Can also be used by departments to send communications out to specific groups
  • Risk Assessment
    • Two initial assessments were concluded, one draft report is completed
      • Discussion of risk assessment process, what will be done with results
      • Next step is to begin work on the remaining six colleges

    • Discussion of every recent outage, and the process that has been created to track them
