    • HPC website is up and running
      • Logistics were discussed on users and clusters
      • Cluster will be ready very soon

  • Institutional Stewardship of Data (ISD)
    • Data Management/Data Curation (DM/DC)
      • With many policies to consider, a report is being worked on that will pull together many different aspects of the issue
    • Data Management and Security
      • Discussion on role of subcommittee
      • Update on status of three phase plan
      • IT Security Plan was completed for case study, will be available as an example for others doing research requiring adherence to P&P of Federal Information Security Management Act
      • Presentation on logistics of three phase plan was given
      • Because the group has worked to document controls, this documentation will eventually map to campus security policies
      • Need discussed to create a more agile process of creating IT Security Plans
      • Issues of policy, resources, and infrastructure were explored to execute plan
    • Regulations and Mandates
      • Spreadsheet was analyzed for creating a website for researchers to find all tools
      • Discussions of ISD role becoming more serious; responsibility growing
  • Campus Profiling Tools Selection
    • Group has joined with the Promotion and Tenure (P&T) project
      • Streamlining was discussed
      • Currently looking at other profiling tools, how they might work with P&T
      • Discussion on tools under consideration and how they function
  • Kuali Coeus Electronic Research Administration Project
    • First committee meeting occurs soon
  • Risk Assessment
    • PO was issued
    • Working with consultant to assess the health sciences colleges and LAS
    • Final report should be completed by February
    • Consultant (McGladery) will show UIC how to conduct an assessment so it can be done internally in the future
